Republican Senator Mitch McConnell should be used to hearing protesters by now, given his history of supporting bogus Republican policies.  But the latest incident at Town Hall left him running for the exit.

McConnell spoke at the American Legion Post in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.  Protesters found Senator McConnell in a town hall meeting and decided to give him a piece of their mind.   They waited outside, holding signs and protesting, asking McConnell in so many words, “What happened, Mitch?”

Specifically, protesters wanted to know why Mitch hadn’t been answering his many calls regarding broken promises over coal industry jobs that Trump promised on the campaign trail.

Angry constituents have been on Mitch’s case, not only for the coal industry lies played up in the election, but also because of Mitch’s support of Trump and the darker side of the Republican party.

McConnell personally helped suppress the public letter reading of Correta Scott King, the late Martin Luther King Jr.’s wife.

Coretta Scott-King protested the 1986 federal appointment of Jeff Sessions, suggesting he intimidated elderly black voters and worked to damage all the good work of her late husband.

Senator Elizabeth Warren tried to read the letter again to debate Sessions’ nomination to Trump’s cabinet, but she was censured by Mitch McConnell and other Republicans who said the letter was character assassination.

Constituents also wanted to know about the coal jobs Trump promised in eastern Kentucky but never delivered.  McConnell avoided commenting until protesters begin heckling and booing him right out of Town Hall.

As usual, the Republicans are unwilling to debate or objectively consider anything that makes them look bad.  Ironically, a lot of these constituents and protesters voted for Trump believing the lie that coal jobs would return to Kentucky.

No, that hasn’t happened.  Trump hasn’t kept any of his promises.  And as Trump’s biggest fan, Mitch has some explaining to do!

I have been browsing on-line more than 3 hours these days, but I never found any attention-grabbing article like yours. It’s lovely value sufficient for me. Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content material as you probably did, the internet might be a lot more helpful than ever before.
