It’s hard to imagine FOX News host Bill O’Reilly sinking any lower than his professional career has already taken him…

After all this is the man who has famously mocked victimized women who were raped or assaulted, and a man who sexually harassed his guests on television.  He’s also made plenty of racist and race-baiting remarks, such as the time he said black slaves were “well fed and had decent lodgings.”

He also called child hunger “a lie” and compared homeless people to criminals.

Seriously…he was more of a dick than Alex Jones (the newly revealed “character actor”) and that’s saying something.

Bill O’Reilly and Fox News owner Ruper Murdoch’s goal may have been to bring conservative views back to the mainstream, in contrast to “liberal media.”  But O’Reilly took it way out in left field.

And he left news the same shameful way he reported it.

Fox News made it official, stating that the host of The O’Reilly Factor had settled a number of lawsuits with women he sexually harassed—either on his program as a guest or working behind the scenes.

Murdoch actually hired former Regan campaign worker Roger Ailes to take over Fox News, and he was the one who hired O’Reilly in the first place.  But Roger Ailes himself was forced to resign last year because of…you guessed it…sexual harassment charges.

Now Fox has decided that with O’Reilly’s own harassment scandal going public (a multi-million dollar history of harassment at that) he was clearly bad PR for the network.

Imagine that…ousted from FOX News because your credibility is questioned.  Questioned by FOX News…as if they have credibility in the first place.

Now that’s just about as low as you can go.

So long, Bill O’Reilly!  Maybe you can join those other famous “Bills” and check into sexual harassment rehab or something.
