Trump’s abnormal behavior of social media has been a popular topic concerning the President’s professionalism.
President Trump’s voice on Twitter has notably increased within recent weeks. From attacking MSNBC’s Good Morning Joe hosts, to tweeting a video depicting himself beating CNN, many Americans and the media themselves are asking why Trump’s harassment is tolerated by Twitter.
It has also been noticed president Trump, instead of participating in the tasks at hand, has found time to actively tweet during meetings with congress and phone calls with foreign leaders.
The media and their reporters are concerned Trump may be too self-absorbed and insecure, that he’s more concerned with public perception than getting the job done. Trump’s brutal behavior towards the media has been seen as threatening to ‘Freedom of the Press’.
“It’s not just anti-CNN. It’s anti-freedom of the press,” Washington Post Journalist responsible for shedding light on the Watergate Scandal, Carl Bernstein said. “It’s very disturbing. There’s nothing lighthearted about it, whatsoever.”
The action usually starts around 9pm Australian east coast time. The rants are soon amplified in traditional media, online websites and as TV news pundits react. It’s the insane genius of Trump’s media strategy — call it “covfefe” if you will.
In the last few days alone, the 45th President of the United States has unleashed very personal attacks on his former friends in the media.
