We all know nepotism has played a huge part in the Trump administration so far, and it seems the Trump family is getting bolder.
President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, was seen filling her father’s seat among the world leaders at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.
Reports say Ivanka filling in for the President of the United States is a bad idea. Usually only high level cabinet members are people who fill in for the president. Trump’s daughter, being entirely unqualified (and also unelected), has caused a slight uproar at home.
Ivanka was seen in her father’s seat during a session on “Partnership with Africa, Migration and Health” on Saturday. The photo of Ivanka was originally tweeted by a Svetlana Lukash, a Russian attendee. However, her tweet has recently been deleted, but showed Ivanka sitting between the President of China, Xi Jinping, and Prime Minister of Britain, Theresa May.
Many have voiced their opinion regarding the matter saying Ivanka Trump shouldn’t be permitted to represent the United States.
“Ivanka Trump, unelected, unqualified, daughter-in-chief, is representing the US at the G20 summit next to May, Xi, Merkel.” Brian Klaas said on Twitter.
